As my favorite author once said, "I'm in love with cities I've never been to and people I've never met." I have always related to that quote as I grew up in a small town in the midwest. As cliche as it sounds, I want to embrace every place I find myself in and live life to the fullest. I think it is important for people to use any opportunity to travel and witness how other people live. I want to go on new adventures, create new relationships, try new foods, and experience life in way that is not possible from a small town in Minnesota. The opportunity to temporally live in a foreign country was something I could not look past.

I am passionate about sharing my experiences through advice, stories, and photographs. When I was planning my study abroad I used other student's blogs as a form of research. I found that these were a great resource and will continue to be during my journey in Barcelona and throughout Europe. Social media and blogs are a great way to create awareness about the opportunities within study abroad, search for advice, and find inspiration.
I want to inspire other students to travel and take part in studying abroad. Becoming a social media intern will give me a platform to do just that. I want to inspire others, show the beauty of the world around us, and give advice to other students. I would love the opportunity to share my travels and adventures in Barcelona, Spain and throughout Europe these next few months.
